Email: November Challenge

Hey Rockstar,

Happy Friday! I’m over here, bursting at the seams with excitement. I have so much planned for you, so many ideas that I’ll be rolling out over the next few weeks. Let’s start with this month’s challenge!

November Challenge

What is your number one goal when it comes to brush calligraphy?

How to participate in the challenge:

  1. Using a brush pen of your choice, write out your answer to the challenge question. Some examples would be to write out “practice every day,” or “experiment with new styles,” or “master the basic strokes.”
  2. Take a photo of your work and share it in the Facebook group. (This is optional. Only share your work if you’d like to).
  3. Check out the work of others and leave them some words of support and encouragement. I will certainly be checking out your work myself, but you are such an important part of my calligraphy tribe so I want to hear from YOU!

Wondering if you’re ready for the challenge?

Use the monthly prompt to exercise your muscles, explore your creativity, and find inspiration. Don’t worry if you still feel like an absolute beginner or you’re not ready to share your work.

If I’ve learned anything in the past three years, it’s that we learn and improve best in the DOING. Books and workshops and online courses can only take us so far. We need to put in the work! Just do your best, don’t stress about what anyone else thinks, and trust the process. (Hint: You’re going to get better every time you touch that brush pen!)

You can do this!

You have the entire month of November to complete this prompt. In the meantime, please know that I’m here for you! I’ll be sending out weekly check ins, continue supporting you in the Facebook group, and hosting these monthly challenges to keep that ball rolling. You’ve invested in me, so I want to invest in you. #letsdothis

Are you up for the challenge?

Hit “reply” to this email and let me know!

I’d love to hear from you, even if it’s just a quick reply of “yes, count me in!” Hearing from you tells me if I’m giving you things you need to help you along your journey.

So even if this email is something you totally don’t need right now, let me know! I read each and every email. Your feedback shapes the very content that I will work on putting out for you.

I’ll “see” you next Friday for our next check in. Have a great weekend and get ready to tackle that November challenge!

Happy writing!

Sharisse
