Have a question or just want to say hi? 🙂

Please note that I am currently NOT taking custom orders. My biggest projects are working on my online course and hosting more in-person workshops. I ❤ teaching!

For CUSTOM WORK (quotes, weddings, etc), please check out my list of recommendations HERE.

At this time, I do not take custom work in order to keep up with my current projects. Thanks for your interest!

  1. Hi there. I follow you on Instagram. You are So talented. I’ve always loved writing, and I’ve been toying with calligraphy.
I live in Cali, and I just don’t know where to start really. Is there an online course that you could recommend that I take?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks:)

    1. Hi, Heather! First off, thank you so much for your kind words and support! I appreciate it so much. Second, my absolute go-to class is Melissa Esplin’s online class: I Still Love Calligraphy. It was hands down an amazing starting point for me and helped me build a great foundation. Hope you get a chance to take it! Where in California are you located?

    1. Hi, Lindsay! Oh, how I wish I was teaching already! A class is definitely a dream for me. Hoping to make it happen within the year. Please stay in touch and I hope to be able to share with you the art of brush calligraphy! In the meantime, stay updated with my blog and Instagram for mini-demonstrations and tutorials.

  2. Hi! I have been doing your IG alphabet challenge and I love brush pens. I’m only starting out and keen to improve my calligraphy skills. I wondered whether you think the Melissa class is still worth doing even if I want to just do brush pen calligraphy? I know hers is pointed pen. Or should I find a brush pen course instead? LOVE your blog btw it’s super clear and easy to follow…thanks so much xx

    1. GREAT question, Siobhan. I would recommend not taking her class until you are interested in picking up pointed pen. I am planning to create an online brush calligraphy course, hopefully within the next few months. Until then, I’ll be sharing more tips and tutorials here on the blog. So glad it is helping you!

  3. Hi this is Emma! I live in Austin and I just am obsessed with your work!! LOVE. I am starting a website of my own work and I was just wondering how you take your photos for your Insta and Blog. They are so bright and clear. If you could share your tips that would be awesome!

    1. Hi, Emma! Thanks! I wrote a blog post on taking better photos (find it on my “Learn” page). But essentially, I try to get as much natural light as possible (takes a lot of patience!), use the camera on my phone, then use the Instagram filters (brighten, contrast, shadows, etc). Occasionally, I’ll use a photo app, but the Instagram filters are usually enough. Hope that helps!
