Hello, friends!

This week, I am taking a break from the usual Sunday tutorial, tip, or how-to post… My excitement is too much to bear!

After months of blogging, YouTubing, and Instagramming, I will be hosting my very first in-person workshop!

Being able to teach you face-to-face and provide in-depth, one-on-one instruction will make a world of a difference in building your brush calligraphy foundation. I am so excited to finally get started with workshops.

In case you can’t wait, here’s a sneak peek: We’ll be picking up right after the basic stroke series and going into depth on connecting them. Connecting the basic strokes are the next step in creating those beautiful letters!

  4. So excited for you! I’ll let you off the hook for one week, but you’d better not string it out into to 2 weeks without a dose of Sharisse and Pieces Calligraphy lol:) I’m not sure what symptoms might surface lol

    1. Aww, Trish!!! You warm my heart. Thanks for “tuning in” each week. I have been cooking up a (brain)storm, and can’t wait to start sharing the next series. It will be going in depth with connecting the basic strokes and then I’ll slowly start sharing letters as they apply to the particular connections. Can’t wait to see what you think!

  5. Wow this is great! Many people are already into calligraphy these days. I’m lucky there are people here in my country who like you would give time to teach beginners. 😊 good luck in your workshops gonna be hoping I can learn from your blog.
